What's wrong with the axle housing? I might have a use for the ends and the brackets off of it (cut the tubes and send the spring perch and "ends")...or are they junk?

What's wrong with the axle housing? I might have a use for the ends and the brackets off of it (cut the tubes and send the spring perch and "ends")...or are they junk? The tubes should be good, I did Camber them about -.6 if that matters. The problem is the carrier bearing section. When the diff broke, a bolt head wedged between the diff and housing section, cracked the diff and scored the housing making the bearing surface not true anymore. The result is the carrier bearing keeps getting chewed up. Ill chop the tubes at the housing and get a shipping quote, it's probably gonna be high though. |
