QUOTE (94bird @ Jul 24 2004, 11:03 PM) QUOTE (rmackintosh @ Jul 21 2004, 02:02 PM) let Gentellozi have the dying animal.... It could be said we're all driving dying animals. (IMG:http://www.frrax.com/rrforum/style_emoticons/default/sad.gif) They're not being made anymore and so much of the market is moving away from cars like ours - racing and on the street. However, I say make hay while the sun shines. (IMG:http://www.frrax.com/rrforum/style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif) Chrysler is starting to bring v8 rear drive cars to market. They are not exactly F-bodies, but I'd drive a dodge magnum (I'm still not sold on the styling) over a honda/acura any day. So, maybe this is more than the "last gasps" of a dead configuration. BMW still has RWD and some HP, Vettes exist, Vipers, 911's. There are still fast RWD cars, but affordable performance is getting harder to find. |
