Since I started a thread I thought I would split them up into autox and road race.
To keep one thread from being a bagillion pages long.... Whats up your sleeves |

Keith, before you go that far with the car I'd strongly consider an enclosed trailer. Even though I'm rebuilding my engine to a 383, going through the transmission with some Viper internals, replacing my clutch/flywheel (with ?), painting and mounting my VFN hood, and installing a rear lexan window I'm still going to get an enclosed trailer by early next year. I'm determined. BTW, counting on a high mileage engine to make it through another season is asking for what happened to me this year. I went to one day of a weekend race and I was done for the year. I could have at least freshened it up over the winter without a lot more work than I put into it to change the cam and do the other things I did.
Boyce, I also wish you luck selling your car. I'm seeing a lot more of them for sale over the last year or so and they sit for a long time. I see 3 of them every day on my way home in their owner's driveways. If you do sell yours we'll miss you. |
