Anybody else "discovered" Wal Mart for tire mounting? Got two Hoosiers mounted today for a grand total of $13.68 (no balancing but included new valve stems and dismounting two tires off said rims). Although YMMV depending on the service writer who happens to be working. The guy here had to check with his tire changer dude to see if he could mount the 275/45/16's on 16X8 rims. I imagine if I go in there enough, they won't question me anymore.

Best thing about Wal-Mart and the tire center....

They will discard old race tires for less than a dollar a piece...Even if you are not getting more tires. And after you go there a time or two and know where they put them the only time it takes is to print a ticker inside, and for you to throw them out. I threw away an entire bed full of tires a while back and it was less than $5.
