Hey Rob, have you used any of the various 2 stage drop-in trigger kits for the AR yet? They are similar to the M1A style trigger in that they have a real light take-up then break clean at around 3lbs or less.
The reason I ask is because it looks like you put several ARs together and may have either tried a trigger group like that or know someone who has. I have a Knight's SR25 {.308 but it uses the same trigger group as a standard AR} and I'm thinking about buying a trigger set for it and would like to get some feedback before I buy. I've already done as much I can with the trigger group while still being reliable {unless I drill and tap for a overtravel set-screw}. I had a National Match M1A that had one of the best triggers I had in a auto. If I could duplicate the feel of it, I would mind spending a bit money on it. |
