It appears that my 16" rims are about to become too small for my car. So, does anyone need a set of 16" alloy rims (no tires, but I may be able to locate some used Hoosiers for them....not sure yet) off of my 2002 Z-28. They are straight and undamaged, however, they have been "Carbo-coated" with brake dust from Carbotech Panther Plus pads. It may come off with a little work (some of it will flake off), but I've not tried. These are not going to win you any shows (who here cares about that?), as they have developed a pateen. However, they will get you around the track very well.
$150 o.b.o. (reasonable, or even unresonable, offers?) |

UPDATE:
Ok. I started to refinish them. So, one is charcoal (I may paint more) and they could use a good sandblasting. As I said, beater track rims. I also have a set of BF goodrich "previously R compounds" for them (they were R compounds, but they are a few years old and may be more like an "L" compound now, maybe even a "G" these days. They have some life left in them - good tires to wear out open tracking). The tires are not mounted on the wheels. $125 for all of it? |
