I am looking to buy 4 3rd Gen 16x8 rear wheels (16mm offset). I would like to fit some tires to them and see if I can stuff them under the wheel wells of my 4th gen Firebird. I would prefer the T/A honeycomb wheels, but I will wait and see what kind of choices that I get.
Thanks. |

I have already had a dialog involving Al and Tony and I got the impression that I am OK running 3rd gen rims as long as they don't rub the wheel wells (this is common sense, not a rule). In addition, I just scanned the rules and I don't see anything related beyond the wheel rule and the fact that you can roll fender lips for tire clearance which would be unnecessary if you were required to run stock offsets...
