Edit: Updates added regularly!
Well, I finally did what I've been wanting to do for a looooonnng time. I bought myself a project car to turn into a track only ride. 1995 Firebird Formula T56 Hardtop I'm not sure if I got the greatest deal but I can live with it. Its a '95 Formula hardtop w/ T56. The engine is seized so I'm in the process of planning to drop the engine and also searching for a good short block. I want to do a budget rebuild to get it moving as well as replace a few hard to get to parts while everything is apart. That would include a canton pan, and removing the AC system, A.I.R, EGR, as well as cleaning up a few things and bolt it back together. After that I want to start using it for track days and slowly modifying it with plans for having an '06 CMC car ready. Thoughts, comments, and inputs are greatly appreciated (especially those for the mill rebuild!) I have an LT1 sickness, |

Looks like we'll be "brothers". I will be running CMC for 2005 in my 1995 Firebird Formula hardtop. I posted my setup on another thread last week.
My motor is shot, but I have decided to just buy a complete crate LT1. About $4,700. I've just seen too many rebuilds not last long... I know that a GM LT1 is good for a very long time. I just need to save my money to do this... |
