I know that NASA run's CA for american sport's car racing,but alot of you run SCCA back east mid west ect...
so could an ITE car run in AI or AIX? or AS in CMC? what are the major rule differance's for the two/three? just wondering |

ITE is typically an "unlimited" class.....however, this varies by region...check local office...
Here in San Francisco...we see CMC, AI and AIX cars in ITE from time to time. CMC = lowest prep so SHOULD be able to run in all groups. i.e. a CMC prepped car should be able to run in all the groups, but an ITE preped car may, or may not be able to run CMC etc... I am not familiar with all the NASA classes, but I know they are each a step up in preparation so once you go up a step in prep....you will not be able to run the lower class anymore....you could run the higher class if you so chose... |
