What is this part and its function?
http://www.vilipend.com/~frrax/Repairs/CMC_012?full=1 The long cylindrical one, I figure its just a vacuum canister for some reserve vacuum. Anyone eliminate theirs or relocate it? (not that it would be difficult....) Its mounted underneith on the right front, usually hidden by the plastic panels. |

I think it's a reserve for the hvac controls.
