QUOTE (torontoZ28 @ Dec 24 2004, 10:01 AM) QUOTE (BCinU @ Dec 22 2004, 11:05 PM) Talk about serendipity. Just as I read your post, the FedEx guy rang my doorbell (working late for Christmas, I guess) and delivered my LS1 brakes and aluminum driveshaft. I suggest you contact Rick at cleveland_pick_a_part@yahoo.com . I was pleased with the price, service and speedy delivery. Packaging on the brakes wasn't great, but they got here fine, albeit in ripped up boxes. Hi - If you don't mind me asking, how much did you pay for your set up? Are you going to re-use your LT1 lines? I paid $175 for the brakes. This vendor turns the rotors and rebuilds/checks the entire setup, so you're not just getting front brake assemblies pulled off a wreck. I won't be using the existing lines, although they did come with the brakes. I'm going with braided steel all around for a bit more than $100. The driveshaft, incidently, was $125. I paid $75 to ship everything. |
