Does anyone on this board live in the Chicago area? I think I've found a good candidate for my F body street car but am hoping someone in Chicago can give the car a once-over for me instead of me driving for more than 4 hours over Christmas to get there. This guy lives in a southwest suburb of Chicago.
I'd need someone to look over the car for me by Tuesday of next week. Lonnie, how close are you to Chicago? |

Thanks for the reply. It's in Darien.
Problem is the auction now has a new deadline of early Monday morning. I can't make it by then, so I'll just have to limit how much I'm willing to bid. If anyone in the Chicago area can look at this car on Sunday I'd greatly appreciate it and would be willing to pay $100 for doing so if you're someone who can give it a good examination. I'm most interested in the condition of the paint, clutch and general engine health (listen to it, feel for any vibrations, etc.). |
