So at 66,600 miles, I'm driving 70mph down the highway in our 2000 Bravada. Without warning, in a flash, all the dash lights and warning lights popped on, the gauges all dropped to zero and then just as quickly, the gauges returned to where they were.
It did it again a minute later, and again later that night. But I made the return 120 mile trip without incident. Battery is new. Don't even know where to begin on this problem. |

Yeah, it's weird. When it happened, you hear it cranking, so you think it is a fuel issue, or plugs/wire/coil/distributor. My mechanic figured out it was the key switch shortly after he had it at his shop. It cranks and just about starts until the second you let the key go from "start" to "run". It's worth a shot.--Something to check or think about.
The mileage it happened at is pretty funky. |
