Jon recently brought a very old thread back from the dead on CC. Despite his original topic name (IMG:http://www.frrax.com/rrforum/style_emoticons/default/tongue.gif) , it's about half brake tech and half a test case for emachineshop.com.

Custom brake bracket

Since I can't use Porsche brakes in my class, the custom machining test case was of greater interest to me. Ergo, I put this in General Discussion instead of Suspension Tech, but either would be appropriate.

A local shop is currently making some parts for me but it was clear they weren't that interested in doing small projects.

That came up in one of the Porsche brake threads, but I'm not sure there was as much info here as there is on that thread (I read it a while ago). I am still trying to decide if I need to try to build a Porsche brake setup or not (just "because"....and I'm running at least one track event this year, probably a few).
