Is there a way to turn the airbag light off using LS1Edit? Since I disconnected the airbags, the light flashes, attempts to pump, then the airbag light and service engine light comes on all the time.

QUOTE (LT4Firehawk @ Feb 5 2005, 06:16 PM) Dremel it. (IMG:http://www.frrax.com/rrforum/style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif) It's a rather permanent solution, but it honestly only takes a minute to do once you have the gauge cluster out. The question I have with removing the light all together or cutting the wire is, will the "service vehicle" light still come on then. My airbag light flashes for about 10 seconds when I start the car, then as soon as it realizes the airbags aren't there, it goes solid, then the "service vehicle" light comes on immediately. How smart is the computer, or are these not linked to the computer? |
