Your local Harley shop.
Bought a battery to fit an 04 Sportster 1200, and received what was basically a rebadged PC-680. CCA of around 270 when fully charged the techs said (it was in the paperwork, but I don't have it handy for exact numbers) Starts the car PERFECTLY. And the price. $72. E-bay retailers are selling the Oddysey for $60 list. If it actually sells for that you have to pay $13 shipping. The price, performance, and convenience can't be beat. Now I just have to figure a nice clean way to mount it secure. |

I used to have a WalMart battery in the car when the battery was in the back.
I could rely on it alright. Rely on it to barely start the car, and need a jump at least every 3-5 events. Pat spun the car out in Toledo, and killed it. (you have to bump an auto into N if your sliding backwards pat (IMG:http://www.frrax.com/rrforum/style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif) ) I think he was nervous that it wouldn't start, but it happened to me a few times so I knew it wasn't any big deal. So basically the walmart battery stranded the car nearly on course near the finish, with cars coming strait for us..... |
