[ *** Sunday March 18 -- still looking for a complete upgrade! *** ]
I'm looking for a complete LS1 brake upgrade kit (spindles, rotors, calipers and brackets. I don't need useable pads, and the hubs would be nice to have but optional ... I can find an incomplete and somewhat expensive kit from Billy Graham's salvage and eBay doesn't come up with anything good right now that will ship to Canada (or that doesn't require me to pay by money order). Anyone have a kit for sale? Thanks! Please post here or send me a pm. ... and this all started when I pulled my entire front suspension for some detailing ... then the little gears in my head started turning and now I already own a set of Hawk HP+ pads, but still need the rest of the upgrade! Oh yes, and I've run out of brakes on the track twice so far. today we had a first nice sunny day without snow on the ground, but that lasted half a day, and i think we got a chance of snow in the middle of the night. hopefully mother nature is gonna cut this crap out, cause this ain't funny anymore.
i think i'm gonna do it toward the end of this upcoming week, i got some parts coming in this wednesday, so hopefully i'll be able to drop my car off for all the new mods on thursday. unless it's gonna get extra cold, in which case, driving around on 315 wide KD's is not such a good idea. i really want my car to be done finally, so i don't ever have to buy parts or have downtime again (yea, right). i'll keep you posted, thanks for the patience with me |
