I would like to install a rollbar in my car, mainly for personal safety reasons. I plan to autocross the car beginning this summer so I would like a bar that would comply with whatever regulations they have for autocrossing. (keep in mind, I'm new to autocrossing and know next to nothing about it)
The body is a 93 Camaro with t-tops. The car will have a bit over 400 RWHP. Thanks! |

I had custom roll bars installed over the winter, more for structural reasons than safety. I found a local fabricator to work with, we discussed what I wanted and what the rules required and worked out a plan. After I dropped off the car I stopped in at least every other day see the progress and to talk about design tweaks as it went along.
I can't quote you the rules on this but you can the roll bar specs in this file: http://www.scca.org/_filelibrary/File/2005...05SoloRules.pdf |
