I would like to install a rollbar in my car, mainly for personal safety reasons. I plan to autocross the car beginning this summer so I would like a bar that would comply with whatever regulations they have for autocrossing. (keep in mind, I'm new to autocrossing and know next to nothing about it)

The body is a 93 Camaro with t-tops. The car will have a bit over 400 RWHP.
Thanks!

Since you are new to autocross, I would suggest going to a few events and see what you think you will need. In addition, you may see a few bars that you like on other cars and get some first-hand input from owners.

I have autocrossed quite a bit and I really don't see the need from a safety standpoint. However, if you decide that you want one, look into what else you might want to do with the car in the future and get the rulebook for these things and ensure that what you purchase would be legal in that type of event as well (open lapping, time trials, road race, etc). Chances are very good that the requirements for these will have a good safe design built-in.
