All through this extended dreary winter, the one thing that kept me positive was the coming track season. So, as soon as weather permitted, out came the trailer, the tools and the car. Ordered tires, replacement parts, spares. Used every free minute to get ready for an April 18/19 event at Summit Point. Resolved the issue about shaved tire balance; found and fixed some worn parts; even found time to add SFCs and heim jointed LCAs. And- finally, I have pneumonia! Will have to cancel the season' first event. Only thing that's not trackworthy is me. *%@!#*^%*$#&@#! I've been there before. Try waking up early and getting to the track only to feel sick while walking the course! (IMG:http://www.frrax.com/rrforum/style_emoticons/default/mad.gif) That was one event a few years ago, the next year I wound up rebuilding the motor which killed half the season, then the car was wrecked a few weeks after the motor was done, this year I found metal in my oil. It's a never ending battle of what goes wrong, I think Murphy has me in his sights when race day comes near.
