my neighbor is a complete moron. a few weeks ago i walk outside to go to work first thing in the morning. the neighbor left his ttops out of his v6 camaro. 98+ car. it had stormed heavily a few hours before and was still drizzling. i honestly don't think he stayed at the house that night. at least i hope not. now i walk outside just a minute ago and its been storming most of the morning. the dumbass left his drivers window down. i mean come on. how hard is it to remember to roll your freaking windows up and put your tops back on the car. ok rant off

I once saw a nice Vette targa (I think it's called) where you remove the top a la t-top but with no center divider.
anyways.... it was a nice vette and a sunny day and it was parked in the shopping mall. It got dark pretty fast with storm clouds... and i could see it was gonna pour. I parked beside him and took a big blue cover thing from the trunk and covered his car, put a note on it... "good car-enthusiast samaritan... please don't throw the tarp away... left my phone #" The guy called me back later that day to thank me for allowing him to have a nice car without ruined leather seats... and not having to wet his pants on the way home. I got the tarp back, as well as some $ (wasn't expecting it)... and got him to come and try Auto-X (IMG:http://www.frrax.com/rrforum/style_emoticons/default/smile.gif) |
