FS: 1989 Pontiac GTA. TPI 5.7L A4 WS6 suspension. 16" rims. Asking $4000 OBO.
The catches, won't pass smog due to worn valve stem seals in head, has 130k miles some rust and is an original Canadian car so everything is metric. Has been registered in California already. Runs strong , shifts good. No bad noises. Very clean car. click here for pictures. Thanks for looking |

Probably a bit high even being OBO, but it's always hard to tell in pics vs. real life. Almost all cars look better in pics.
I bought my old '91 GTA with 152k miles with a fresh trans, 2800 converter, and a non ripped up driver's seat [which yours seems to have] for $2000 back in '03 and it passed emissions. Had a few spots of rust but wasn't real bad for a Midwest car. Needed front brakes and rear tires though. Valve stem seals should only be responsible for the puff on startup. What does the car fail on? HC, CO2? |
