Well I got bored today and didn't have much to do on the car so I was looking thru Best Buy and came across a new PC game called GTR FIA GT Racing Sim. Anyway I thought I'd give it a try since there doesn't seem to be many GT based sim games, most are either F1 or NASCAR. Played it for a bit tonight....not to bad. Although it doens't have any US tracks it does have a lot of the Euro tracks and what seems to be the FIA field of ALMS. There are 550s, 575s, 360s, S7Rs, Listers, Molsers, 911 GT2 and GT3 cars as well as a C5R. None of the cars are in the US colors and I don't follow along with the Euro races to know if the colors are correct or not. At any rate it has great graphics and sounds. While I can't say I've been behind the wheel of a GT2 on a race track it doesn't seem to off balance from a real car.
Anywhoo....here's a link to the site. http://www.10tacle.com/gtr-game/ |

I haven't played Forza but I have all the GT series games and they are pretty good....never played one with a wheel. I've had a wheel on the PC for a long time.....had to have something to do when it was snowing outside back home in Indy. Grand Prix Legends was probably the hardest game I've ever played....this isn't that bad. The cars look and sound pretty close to the real things. No way to tell if thats how a C5R is in the rain but hey....its only a game. Something to do anyway.
