That's when I stumbled across this http://batterytender.com/notice_odyssey.php It looks like most of you using this battery are fairly happy with it, but battery tender's thoughts wave a flag!!

Has anybody had problems with battery temperatures when road racing or open tracking? Taking another 17 lbs off the front in addition to the glass hood, gutting, etc would be nice.
