Anyone relocate their PCM to the interior using the stock engine harness?
I would like to move my computer to just inside the firewall, about where the heater/AC Box is [was]. Maybe mount it to the plate that will cover the hole. I'm wondering if the stock wiring harness is long enough without having to extend any of the wires. This would be for the wiring that runs to the engine, not those two connectors & wiring that run forward to the headlight area and across the core support. I would already be rewiring the forward lamp harness as I would also be relocating the injector, fans/actr, and pcm fuses from the 'Underhood Electrical Center' to the interior as well. |

No problem....I moved mine into the GLOVE BOX actually and mounted the Underhood Electrical Center on the floor of the passenger side...I have no AC/Heater.....just a plate.....with a little work the PCM wires should get you in the car fairly easy...as for the UEC...since the wires wrap to the drivers front.....you have enough length...with carefull pruning of "unnecessary" items which I have forgotten now...to make it into the back seat if you wanted to....
