When I do my !Stereo I'm thinking of attempting to strip the face plate off of the head unit and glue all the buttons and such in place then attach it to the bezel so it "appears" to still be a fun head unit. Sure it's a few more ounces I could take out but I'm trying to keep my car looking "full interior" with the obvious exception of the roll bar and !BackSeat.

The face plate comes off the radio easily and with all the buttons attached.
