Considering how much it costs to put on a race, and that the entire customer base was just told to go f*ck themselves, would YOU front the money to promote a new date?

If it were my dollars, I'd have to think long and hard before investing in next year's Indy date. A lot of the market has to be repeat customers, and what's left is the people who enjoyed watching it on TV the previous year and want to see it for themselves.

When you tell your entire market to piss off, its hardly time to think about expanding.
