How did you guys attach you harness belts to the floor?

I just used some 1/2" grade 8 flange cap bolts and 1/4" thk 2"x2" sqaure washers on the inside to make it long enough for the bolt to pass through the harness and stock belt. The washers go on the back side to prevent the bolt from pulling through the floor pan. I still use the stock torx bolts on the outsides since they have a meaty shoulder-I'm not sure how well a replacement would work here. I'm sort of afraid of how a conventional bolt would work there. Any thoughts? |
