Have any of you heard of a Hurst Camaro? A buddy saw a Camaro with subtle Hurst emblems under the SS, or Z-28 emblems on the side and rear. It was a black 4th gen. with Florida tags. I don't recall GM offering it, but my knowledge isn't that good. Maybe a dealer option, or a well done owner modification?

There were a few more than 7 made, but not many more. That number sounds about right for the 98 Hurst Firebird, but I think the 97 production was about 10-20. They used to have all the details on the Lingenfelter site, but apparently they've deleted it all off the site now. Pricing new was just under $50K, and it included gold stripes down the length of the car, ported heads and a cam, and some other peformance goodies. They were available only in a six speed with Hurst shifter (duh). Also, if I remember correctly, the 97s were Formulas only, and the 98s were TAs. Both years were WS-6 based cars. They were rated at 350HP@6000 and 375TQ@4500. Car & Driver got a 0-60 of 4.7 and a 1/4 of 13.1@111.
