Hey guys....I did a search first with little success. I'd like to put an aftermarket steering wheel in. (Momo, Sparco, Grant, etc.) What diameter should I get and what offset to keep it in the same place as the stock wheel? I'm sure someone knows the right models. My seat is fixed, so I don't want the wheel to be much closer or further away than it currently is.
Want to get rid of that ugly and heavy stock wheel with the nut and horn wires exposed from where the airbas used to be! (IMG:http://www.frrax.com/rrforum/style_emoticons/default/mad.gif) Oh, and I know there is the Billingslye dummy cover....but I don't want that. |

QUOTE (1LEThumper @ Aug 5 2005, 17:45) The only thing I didn't screw with was hooking up the horn so I don't have horns on the car. Ditto. I still need to get this bumper sticker... I have an '89 Firebird steering wheel on my car and it works well and still looks good because it was the last year before air bags. Not sure if it'd fit on a 4th gen though. Not as pretty as aftermarket, but definitely a lot easier on the wallet. |
