I have been wanting to install a shift light ever sent's i blew up the second motor (IMG:http://www.frrax.com/rrforum/style_emoticons/default/blink.gif) I really like the one LG sale's
http://www.lgmotorsports.com/shop/product_...fdc6452c6cdfa02

but it's a little pricey, does anyone else make one like this?

I just may end up with a Proform from Jeg's
http://www.jegs.com/cgi-bin/ncommerce3/Pro...672&prmenbr=361

Has anyone used one of these before?

..I wouldn't want to be hitting the LS1 limiter too much myself. I only tapped it once on the drag strip and I bent a pushrod. A friend of mine also bent a pushrod by hitting the rev limiter, much harder than I did... and his was bent into an S.

Just curious, was that from holding it in gear too long, or misshifting into the wrong gear?

The misshift will hit the rev limiter, but the engine will still over-rev because it's being mechanically driven at that point. That's the only time I've heard of ls1 pushrods getting bent before, is on a misshift or a hydrolock.
