QUOTE (robz71lm7 @ Aug 22 2005, 17:11) I have a Raptor shiftlight mounted high to my a-pillar and focused right into my eyes. I can look straight ahead and shift without being distracted. It flutters as you approach the set point and goes solid at the set point. The raptor is small, bright, and easily programmable. Unlike the Harlan it's also readily available. I don't know why people put them in the vent-I'd rather have it at eye level pointed right as me as I look ahead. I have it in the vent beacause it's not visible that way in normal conditions. The light is so bright and pointed directly towards me that I can't miss it once I reach it. Those leds are real bright. |
