I just found this site from a link over at corner-carvers.com.
I am going to start road racing this year. My local track is Summit Point in WV (No, I am NOT from WV. (IMG:http://www.frrax.com/rrforum/style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif) ) I currently drive a 97 SS. Not a whole lot done to it. C5 Front Brake Conversion (I bought the adapters etc from Chris at (RIP) Nashville Speed) KB Double Diamond Subs Hotchkis PHR (I removed the Hotchkis LCA cause the rearend "danced", stock stuff doesn't dance! wahoo!!) 4.10 gears Pro 5.0 Shifter Hotckis STB (which I am not real sure it even works) 1LE Driveshaft I plan on getting some shocks etc from Sam Strano (he has been very helpful in this department) I recognize same names here as well. Anyway..... Have a great day gang! |

QUOTE (Doug 97SS @ Feb 15 2004, 02:10 PM) Hotckis STB (which I am not real sure it even works) Hi Doug, welcome aboard. I'm sure the STB in question helps a lot. Back when my car was a daily driver, that was the first mod I made - even before wheels/tires (it had the 16" combo). I honestly believe the Hotchkis STB tightened up the feel of the car in the corners more than the 17x9/275/40-17 combo did. Good luck! |
