The South Texas Porsche Club is hosting an event on 2/28/04 at South Padre Island. I have been running these events for two years and they arethe best deal going. You get 2-3 hours of run time, timing, and driving instruction if you want it. It is typically a 2-3 mile course set up on an old air base. They only charge $60!! The non-Porsches outnumber the Porsches and there is nothing like running down a twin turbo 911 with a F-body. Let me know if anyone is interested in going along. Several of us are ventuing down from Corpus Christi if you are interested.

I believe I have heard of these events.
A friend named Chuck Stong has an LT4 Firehawk and snagged me pretty hard into this road course thing. I recall him saying that there is a straight that is like a mile long or some crazy stuff? I am already committed to TWS the weekend after or I would give this serious considertion. When is the next one scheduled? |
