There is an autumn Mirrorkhana series being held by the Atlanta Region SCCA, starting 10/22. The registration for the first one is open, and I think the second one will open in the next few days.
It's limited to 64 entries, $50 entry fee. You get two "dial in" runs, which are used to "seed" you for a double-elimination bracket. Each pairing has a staggered start, based on index, and they've modified a couple of the PAX indices (especially some of the notoriously soft ones, like GS and ESP). Winner takes home $150, and payouts are through eighth place. There will be a series payout too, with the series winner getting an additional $150 and a free pass to Atlanta Region events for 2006. Maybe Joel will chime in with additional info, or you can go to the SoloAtlanta page for some additional info. I'm planning on going to the first two. Anyone else? Karen |
