QUOTE (pimpmaro @ Nov 17 2005, 01:52) How did ya do against the Cessna in the background? I've got more hours on my head under the dash of an Aero Commander (turbo prop) than I care to count. We did a major avionics installation on one of those and they are no fun at all to work on. And, the Garrett turbo props were ear splitting, even at idle.
My last job in a Piper Pawnee (spray plane) was not much fun. Those things are flying pick up trucks and get treated about the same way. Between dried up chemical powder that was left from leaks/spills and years of abuse, I couldn't get out of that thing fast enough....and I was just in the hangar. |
