a couple of you may not want to revisit this
http://www.ls1tech.com/forums/showthread.php?t=409382 my brain really hurts sometimes reading this stuff. Especially in a handling and braking section. Yes, that thread is full of slotted rotors to release the gas from pads comments, and the classic QUOTE drive backwards and apply the brake and do that a few times and see if that helps I'm not knocking the site in general, it's helpful for many things, but still........ |

QUOTE (pknowles @ Nov 29 2005, 07:00) I never go into any other section, but the PCM reprogramming section on LS1 tech. There is still some crap to weed through, but it's not as bad. Plus there is some good info there (PCM section) for those who want to learn. oh don't even start me on the moronisms spread on forums, and i'd say PCM section is one of the worse (although is getting better, due to consistant head bashing from few ppl that actually know what they're doing). These ppl will take so much completely on faith, but when i present them with math and physics and scientific experimentation they jump on my throat, simply because it goes against what's been admited as 'truth' before. it's a contest of who's more public/loud/obnoxious about their finds than who's methodology's cleaner. they really test my patience sometimes, as their complete lack of patience and knowledge of anything remotely scientific gets in a way of spreading what i consider (only after extensive validation by experimentation) to be correct. the only reason why i keep correcting and demonstrating my point time after time is to populate the forums enough that the 'signal to noise ratio' improves. keep on fighting the good fight, and one day maybe we won't have to explain why drilled rotors are not really worth it. yea, right (IMG:http://www.frrax.com/rrforum/style_emoticons/default/wink.gif) |
