The last few I have sent Welcome PM's too.
It would be really nice if these could be sent automatically to new members when they register. Just a simple welcome letter with a reminder that participation in discussion is what makes the board grow. Also could include a reminder to update profile info and add a short signature. Just an idea. |

These are all good ideas guys. we need a sticky FAQ post or even a dedicated FAQ forum in the general section.
There may be a way to send a welcome message with the e-mail verification function when a person registers, otherwise maybe Lonnie wants to be the official greeter? (IMG:http://www.frrax.com/rrforum/style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif) |
