Toyo's website sent me to a bunch of phone numbers for tire dealers only, not retail stores. So where do I buy Toyos? Discount and TireRack don't sell them. All I want is a price! QUOTE (rmackintosh @ Feb 24 2004, 09:19 PM) QUOTE ("they suck, but suck for a long time"), I learned that these tires are good for 3-4 race WEEKENDS. Yep.....brings me back to the first 8 years of racing my Datsun.....I used that comment a MILLION times! (IMG:http://www.frrax.com/rrforum/style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif) I used to get damn near a FULL 10 race season from the Toyos on the Datsun.....thats why I ran them so long before going to a REAL tire.... 3-4 weekends in a Toyo seems low for the Camaro though...my main competition here is getting 4 weekends out of a set of Hoosiers....and YES they wear about twice as fast! Good point. I should clarify the definition of how long they last. I have been told that they are COMPETITIVE for 3-4 race weekends. After that, they may cord or become harder rocks and uncompetitive... |
