If anyone needs to order from GW just give them a call. I ordered online (I believe Sean did too) and my online order disappeared. Once I called (after no product or CC charge in 3 weeks) they were quick to fix it and I got my upper control arms in less than a week.

QUOTE (sgarnett @ Nov 28 2005, 11:29) My Moog PS lowers were already tapped. I sure wouldn't want to try to tap the threads after the ball has already been swaged in and at least partially pregreased - you'll never get all the shavings out. I suspect you got a defective set. I'd exchange them. My Moog lowers were also tapped. Well Alan was right the uppers were fine. The supplied zerks tapped themselves in nicely with a 1/4" ratchet. Kinda funny how the uppers aren't tapped but the lowers are tapped. I suspect it's because the lowers are common to multiple GM cars and the upper are F-body specific IIRC. Well the del-a-lum bushings are nice, but much of the benefit is lost since the uppers were a tad bit too wide for the upper mount so there is added friction there. Still there is less friction than my lubed poly bushings had. |
