CMC #37, I ment to mention earlier that your Jeep sounds like a real nice ride.
Thank you, I am quite proud of hubby's project. You should have seen the swiss cheese it was before, it even had a Dana 70 dually rear. Had beige latex house paint on it too! (IMG:

We have this run the California Association of Four Wheel Drive Clubs (CA4WDC) puts on each summer called the Sierra Trek, a run up the Fordyce Creek to Meadow Lake (Lake Tahoe area). There are three deep water crossings and seven winch hills, I think you would like it! I have driven that three times. We also did the Rubicon many times and never had a serious problem. We have used the Warn winch a few times and on-board welder to help out a buddy a time or two. There's nothing like being on the trail! :drive:
Good luck with the motor. Our Jeep has been out of action because of a valve clearance problem from the machine shop we worked with. Can't wait to hear that motor again. Not many folks can recognize the very unique sound of a free-flowing, balanced and blueprinted 231 Buick!
