Forgeline is discontinuing the RS 2-piece wheel (going all 3 piece). However, since Phil Knowles and I have already ordered ours they have enough product to make about 4-5 more sets. And they will be keeping parts for at leas the next two years in case of damage.

Why am I mentioning it? Because I can get them for a pretty good price. $2000/set of 4 17x11's. Other sizes available, of course prices vary. Feel free to call me if you are looking for other sizes.

These are two piece wheels. Forged centers, spun aluminum shell. Center is welded in, not bolted. http://www.forgeline.com/wheels/comp_photos.html

Why did I pick these instead of say.... CCW or some other 3 piece wheel? Well, I think CCW's aren't a pretty, but the real reasons are: Two piece wheels are lighter having no nuts and bolts. Two piece wheels can be made in most any offset you wish because the center is place and welded, so you are not at the mercy of pre-made wheel halves. They also don't leak..... CCW's are around $1900 a set, and are from what I have found to be about 1-1.5 pounds heavier than Forgeline RS's.

The mounting pad is not such to enable that. CCW's have a much heavier (bigger) pad.
