in '04 CMC had 3-4 cars, and AI was like 5. so to make better use of the day, they lump cars of other class's w/ similar lap times together to make a full grid and gridded by qual time - kinda like ALMS - multi class grids. so we would commonly have some AI and other type cars lumped in between the CMC cars. sometimes it played for you, sometimes it played against you. we all had the same conditions. you should see how bad it gets w/ an inverted start!
the little Super 7's and burkins are no longer w/ us. we had too much trouble seeing them and they were just too light to risk getting involved in a crash. durring '05, CMC and AI, AIX still had too few cars to get the track to ourselves. so they still lumped some of the other 1-2 car class's w/ us. looks like this year we will just have CMC, AI, AIX on the track w/ us.

as for TWS, thats about 125 or so @ the transition from the banking to the flat. you gotta have your ducs in a row when you hit that or you get to John Dear it!
