The company that I work for told us this week that they are downsizing and out sourcing IT. Won't know if I'm one of the jobless until April. (IMG:http://www.frrax.com/rrforum/style_emoticons/default/dry.gif)

Retiree benifits shouldn't be cancelled, even if you have to pay something towards it out of your pension. My dad needed a pacemaker less than a month after he retired, the total bill came out to over 25 grand! We would have been paying that off for over 5 years without his benefits.
Without benefits I would be too worried about saving for future doctor's bills to spend any money. That alone would make me sick. Enough people like that would make the economy even worse. |
