I drove my road race car today on the roads for fun (it also happens to still be street legal). Other than getting stuck on the transition from my driveway to the road (car is too low for that), it drove perfect, just perfect.

It feels out of place on the road. The steering response is incredibly crisp. The ride is so stiff (850 front, 225 rear). I could break the wheels free at will (in 1st and 2nd) on my Toyos. I had a constant sound of road cinders (for proving traction in snow) in my wheels wells. ...and to top it off, I had some fool in an Eclipse that thought he could play with me. I also saw a Del Sol with a fart can and a wing going the other way. I know he really wished he was going in my direction. So did I. That drive was so rewarding. After all of the work Ive done over the winter, it was rewarding. Short but rewarding. Is it spring yet? Sigh.

I'm up in southern Ontario and pulling my car out of storage today! Altho I won't be surprised if it snows again, in which case it will be parked in my driveway till that clears.

Have any of you with +800/175 front/rear rate springs ever tried driving on snow? THe day I went to put my car away there was a VERY slight covering of snow on the ground(could still see the road underneath) but my front wheels basically still acted like ski's when trying to stop. I only had 215's on at the time.
