I'm trying to sell my old F-150. Great truck, but hard on fuel. Selling ONLY because I bought my Dad's Dodge diesel. I'm asking 3 grand which may seem a little high for an'84, but it's a V8, 4x4, auto, AC, PW,PL, etc, etc. And all the stuff that breaks on a "great deal" has been fixed on this one. So far I've had two "I'd buy it but I don't have the money", one "It's just what my son is looking for, I'll be right back", one "my dad had a truck JUST LIKE THIS. Biggest POS we ever owned", one "I'm going to get the money and will back tomorrow", and one "will you finance it?". I got so fed up, I pulled the "for sale" sign out and parked it around back. I must attract them. (IMG:http://www.frrax.com/rrforum/style_emoticons/default/banghead.gif)

Try getting your wife to do the selling. Not saying you look shady or anything, just certain people think they can get something over on a women seller (and/or they are honest looking .... ). Just let her know the lowest you will go and let her go to town.
Mine has sold everyone one of mine since we have been married. She even sold one right from under me while I was driving it home from work (IMG:http://www.frrax.com/rrforum/style_emoticons/default/cool2.gif) . Its funny my last comment on every car going, has been if you ever consider selling it please call me - I'd be interested in buying it back. Not one has ever came back. |
