I gave a friend the first ride and nearly scared the pants off of me, Brakes were still little green. That Detroit Locker really bites coming out of tight turns and coming in , well lets just say you better leave the sissy pants at home. :drive: Started with a full tank of fuel and ten minutes into the third session it started to run out . I pulled off and was headed to the gas station. I rounded the shell station there at the track and Kaboom all shat broke loose. I think it must of had a defect. I think this car is trying to pay me back from the stunt I pulled on it last year. |

QUOTE (BenZ28 @ Feb 17 2006, 05:35) QUOTE (beuke23 @ Feb 16 2006, 12:26) I love the pics. Is your car totally stock? There's one shot where it looks like the f/r tire is riding on the fender! Is that just before Adenauer-Forst? (I'm looking at my EVO mag for reference). (Sorry also from me for hijacking, Roy...) The car indeed looks totally stock. What I've done is: Kenny Brown SFCs, ST (Strano 35mm soon to be installed) & 1LE swaybars, Borla exhaust, front Koni & rear Bilstein shocks, Brembo OEM rotors with HP+ pads, Severn brake ducts. No mods to the engine. Drives real nice on the track. I don't know which picture you mean, just give me the link & I can comment. (IMG:http://www.frrax.com/rrforum/style_emoticons/default/smile.gif) Ben Hey Ben- No helmet!? 8:30 seems pretty fast and good for a stock motor and a car with little mods! The new Z06 does 7:40, and old one 7:56? So I wonder what a Z28 with worked suspension, some weight removal, 100 more HP, and some big brakes could do? Any other Ring times? Dennis Oh, on the straight though, are you going like 120, 140, 160? |
