I'm down in Maryland on work travel right now and they are calling for a few inches of snow with ice on top it today.... I'll probably get home early afternoon, but I am supposed to be loading my car on the open trailer to bring to Mufflex at 7:30am for my y-pipe to be made.....
I've never tried putting a rear wheel drive car with slick tires on a metal open trailer (open deck (IMG:http://www.frrax.com/rrforum/style_emoticons/default/mad.gif) ) during an ice storm. Hoping they call this storm wrong.... I called home ahead of time to see if someone can cover the runners with tarp to keep them from icing at least up to where the back tires will be going. I scheduled this appt. 2 weeks ago and the ovalized pipe just showed up there yesterday and the weather earlier in the week showed 60F on Thurs......now ice. Current predictions are calling for things to get messy from midday onward. Snow/Ice mix changing to all snow depending on how far north the storm tracks. Central Jersey appears to be the dividing line. Don't know how far north and west you are of the supposed line. Wish you luck. Be Careful, it's only an exhaust system. It can go on any time. It's not worth your safety.
