just to play devils advocate for the "world economy". You may know where the product was made, but do you know where the raw materials came from? (IMG:http://www.frrax.com/rrforum/style_emoticons/default/tongue.gif)

(IMG:http://www.frrax.com/rrforum/style_emoticons/default/tongue.gif) Yep, most metals are imported from Asia due to the fact that they are significatly more cost effiective vs. the US sources. Anybody remember the tariff G W Bush put on Asian steel? There was such an uproar from the Dommestic fastener manufactures that they were instrimental in getting that tariff removed. |
