LS1 Inside! / Toolbox / Mechanical Engineer Group: Advanced Members Posts: 2,215 Joined: 5-February 04 From: NJ Member No.: 179	Well, I left MD around 11:30am and the temp was about 42F. The temp slowly dropped down to 32F as I neared Philly and remained there the whole way home. Roadsigns and curbs were the only things showing signs of ice. One part of the driveway and the whole back path was ice. When I got home, I moved the truck and trailer, rolled the car out, got the ramps set, then took the tarp off, then ran the car right up on the trailer....one easy shot. I then tied it all down (of course it was raining pretty hard at this time) while rolling around on a creeper. Now its ready to go sitting out in the rain and possibly seeing its first snowflakes ever! Hopefully things will be under control by morning so I can just go straight there. LS1 Inside! / Toolbox / Mechanical Engineer Group: Advanced Members Posts: 2,215 Joined: 5-February 04 From: NJ Member No.: 179	I'm down in Maryland on work travel right now and they are calling for a few inches of snow with ice on top it today.... I'll probably get home early afternoon, but I am supposed to be loading my car on the open trailer to bring to Mufflex at 7:30am for my y-pipe to be made..... I've never tried putting a rear wheel drive car with slick tires on a metal open trailer (open deck (IMG:http://www.frrax.com/rrforum/style_emoticons/default/mad.gif) ) during an ice storm. Hoping they call this storm wrong.... I called home ahead of time to see if someone can cover the runners with tarp to keep them from icing at least up to where the back tires will be going. I scheduled this appt. 2 weeks ago and the ovalized pipe just showed up there yesterday and the weather earlier in the week showed 60F on Thurs......now ice.
